LBPs are responsible for ensuring that restricted building work they undertake or supervise complies with the New Zealand Building Code and relevant legislation. Being an LBP also means maintaining high standards of workmanship, acting professionally, keeping up to date with industry requirements, and taking responsibility for the quality and compliance of the work carried out.
